Course Content

The course provides specialization in the field of Climatology, namely:a) studies the effect of climatic parameters in sectors such as agriculture, forestry, hydrology, human health, transport, energy, etc., but also the impact of human on climate; b) deals with the study of climates that prevailed on Earth during the various geological periods and seasons.

The course content includes: Processing of climatic data. Climate classifications and climate indicators. Impact of climate on humans and bioclimatic indicators. Climate and hydrology, soil, agriculture, forestry, energy. Climate modification methods. Climate elements and natural disasters. Climate change and impacts assessments. Climate models and future projections. Dendroclimatology and climate reconstruction.
